help with makeup for beginners?
i was thinking about asking my mom to wear makeup but i have ABSOLUTLY no idea what concelier,primer or foundation are or what they do i also dont know how to apply mascara,eyeshadow or eyeliner to save my life . can you explain what these things are
concealer: it helps conceal dark cirlcles under your eyes or help cover pimples.
primer: you put primer on before your makeup to make it last longer, and its supposed to help minimize the look of your pores and smooth out your skin.
foundation: goes on after primer to help make your skin look more flawless and hide acne and stuff.
mascara: to apply it just sweep the brush from the base of your lashes to the tips. do this a couple of times until you get your desired look. ( a good mascara is dior iconic, it lengthens really good) dont put too much on though because when i started out i made it clumpy and thick and was really ugly. (dont use great lash mascara) the one with the big brush is okay, but the original is bleh!
eyeshadow: just take the applicater of the eyeshadow , choose your color, and sweep it across your lids. (try an eyeshadow a couple shades lighter than your skin tone and put it just on your lids and stop at the crease, it makes your eyes look brighter)
eyeliner: you can apply it to your waterline ( the rim under your eyes), underneath your lashline to make your eyelashes look thicker ( the rim you can see if you look up under your eyelashes), and you can put it on above your lashline to make your eyes look bigger ( on your lid just above your lashes) tip-put your eyeliner in thin lines so it doesnt look thick and cakey.
