Bass Head and Cab Mix and Match help?
Will a Acoustic BassHead154 refurbished be able to run a Ampeg B410HE 4X10” Speaker Cabinet?
I have the Original 1972 BassHead154 along with is never been parted 150B speaker Cab but the cab is finally giving up and it cost to much to restore it. I want to get the AMPEG but see if i could use the head since it works amazingly.
BassHead154- 250 watts peak, 125 W RMS @ 4 Ohm
Ampeg B410HE 4X10- 200W RMS/400W peak power handling
8 ohms
Idk much about mix and matching bass heads and cabs
That head should work just fine with that cabinet. However I can find no mention of the Acoustic 154 as a bass head. It is listed a few times as a guitar stack. Perhaps there is a mistake with the model number.
